cd /tmp/
# git – git user, git-host – server address or hostname, gitolite-admin – admin repo name
git clone git@git-host:gitolite-admin
# generate the new user's key pair; the .pub key goes to the server
ssh-keygen -t rsa
# the key file name (without .pub) becomes the user name
cp /some/where/new_user_key.pub /tmp/gitolite-admin/keydir
git add keydir
git commit
git push
